My Poem and how it Relates to my Life :)

I have chosen The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost. I did this poem not only because it was an easy poem but because it is a lot like how my life has been the past 10 years.

This poem spoke to me while I was trying to choose a poem. By that I mean it was the only poem that related to my life. And by that I mean sense I was 4 my parent haven’t been together. So when he “Robert Frost” says and I took the one less traveled by it was the same for me. Until I was 13 I had no choice in who I wanted to live with but I wanted to choose I hated living with my mom my life was bad and I hated her house and everything about it. But when we moved to Olympia everything changed I grew closer to my mom and I don’t hate life as much anymore. But Robert is saying he was going to make a choice that would change his life forever and a choice that others would have chosen otherwise. That’s the same with me instead of taking my mom to court to let my dad have full custody of me I decided to get on with life and be happy the way I was and in the long run that choice might turn out to be a good one and it has.
